Kunstraum Lüders. Peter Dülberg.

Together with Margaritha Durrieu by tramway to Neuer Wall, from there on foot to Kunstraum Lüders (Art Room Lüders), Admiralitätsstraße 12. An exhibition of the painter Peter Dülberg* is on show there.

In the evening, cinema with Mr. Power.

*Peter Düllberg, born 1911 in Munich, suffered from diabetes. Due to the
constantly changing employments of his father, painter Ewald Düllberg, he grew
up in several German cities, lived in Hamburg after a number of studies and
trainings, but did not become a member of the "Hamburg Secession". In 1941 a
ban was imposed on the exhibition of his work, although he was permitted to
continue working – as opposed to many of his fellow painters.

Raining in torrents.

On Dülberg's paintings: Horrid pictures ... Zuckerkranke Bilder, wimmernde Farben, influence of Dali...

On the film "Mutiny on the Bounty": Film worse than ever & actually loses through German synchronisation.

Late at night, once again Reading lamp kaputt.
