Together with Willem Grimm, Beckett drives out to Glinde – a village on the
western city border of Hamburg – to the topping-out ceremony of Karl Ballmer's
studio. A merry feast, both Hans Martin Ruwoldt and Paul Bollmann are there.
In the evening, together to the "Flora" at Sternschanze, to see a wrestling match. Much alcohol. On saying goodbye, Beckett agrees with Paul Bollmann to
visit him in his studio, to which it ultimately does not come.. |

Then bus to Glinde, chiefly a milk farm, with cottages.
Beckett and Grimm are served a magnificent soup & sausages. Half hearted drinking, Kümmel & beer.
By and by the Prolatarian leave Prolatarian ... till only the painters, the architect, the sculptor & the Tintenkuli left.
Flora: (Bollman has a season ticket!)... Boring show, sweating struggling masses.
