Pleasant pale fine day.

In park café: A large Löwenbräu at one gulp… order another beer & ask waiter to put on »Leonore« again … Lovely view SW across See to wood of poplars. Feel most happily melancholy.

Return Train to Hallerstr. Cigar & a cork spitz Corner of
Binderstraße/Rothenbaumchaussee.

*The mention of the Heine memorial is somewhat surprising, because –
according to most renditions – the unveiled Heinrich-Heine memorial of 1926 by Hugo Lederer had already been removed from this place, as the result of a proposal made by a senator at a senate meeting on 2nd August 1933.
